Short films in general

Short films in general are between 5 and 30 minutes long, they usually have a simple message or meaning. The short film usually has a linear storyline with only the usual twists and turns at the end, this is because of the length of the film itself.
Many short films have only one character which is known this is good for the audience to get to know them in the short amount of time which is given in the film.
Many short films use the technique of having no dialogue and use the visuals to show the audience what is happening, building the storyline with props and using sound effects and music to create tension in the short films.
